About Me

I am a broadcast journalist, social media creator, and podcast host who recently earned his bachelor degree from Cal State Fullerton. Since 2017, I've been deeply involved in media starting with a YouTube vlog.

This experience ignited my passion for storytelling whether through feature news stories, podcast interviews, or social media graphics. My current goal is to make an impact behind or in front of the camera. I'm eager to learn more about media in order to create a safe place where anyone can feel welcome to tell their story.

Content Creator Reel- The Armory

This reel represents some of my work as a Content Creator at the The Armory for 3 months.

Here are some notable statistics that encapsulate the success of this season:

- Totaling 5.1 million views and counting across social media platforms

- Garnering 5.1 million impressions and plays on all Instagram posts

- Achieving an average post reach of 64,000 accounts, with an Instagram follower base of 59.2k

- Two standout videos currently boasting over 850,000 and 940,000 views, respectively

This Instagram graphic is from the Running Report after Sadie Engelhardt competed at the 2024 Arcadia Invitational. I used Adobe Photoshop to create a graphic illustrating the importance of Engelhardt's mile win.

HS Athlete Storytelling

I love getting the opportunity to talk to professionals but I will never take for granted interviewing high school athletes.

My goal is to give high schoolers the best media experience possible, preparing them for bigger stages. We were Rylee Blade's first interview her freshman year. Now she is nationally ranked and winning national championships as a junior. We are still getting the chance to interview her and see how she is getting more comfortable with the media.

Marketing Partnership with HOKA

My podcast 2 Black Runners, put on aTrivia Night in Eugene, OR at the 2024 U.S. Olympic Track & Field Trials. This is one of my favorite activations because we successfully made an engaging event for runners where they didn’t have to go run. Attendees had a good time drinking beer, playing trivia, and hanging out with friends.

- Collaborated with HOKA, Coldfire Brewing, and Run Hub Northwest through the 2 Black Runners podcast

- Event attracted over 150 attendees, successfully bridging the digital and physical community

- Worked closely with HOKA's marketing team to organize digital promotions and plan event setup

- Designed a 29-team trivia competition, creating the outline and tracking team progress

- Co-MC’ed the event with my podcast co-host, engaging attendees and fostering community interaction

- Turned podcast followers into real-life connections during a fun and interactive night

2 Black Runners Podcast

Founded in 2020, the 2 Black Runners podcast is dedicated to amplifying Black voices in the running community and beyond. Recognized in 2022 by Runner’s World and Oprah Daily as part of their "Rising Black Trailblazers" feature, the podcast has covered major events like the 2024 U.S. Olympic Track & Field Trials, 2022 World Athletics Championships, USATF Championships, and Nike Outdoor/Indoor Nationals. We’ve also hosted live podcasts at the NYC Marathon and the Running Industry Conference.

As the podcast's co-creator, I handle audio and video editing, and I also create Instagram clips and graphics, turning key moments from our episodes into engaging digital content. Our platform connects with runners of all backgrounds, fostering an inclusive global community both on and off the track.

I gained great experience in the newsroom during my time with ESPN+ and Titans Sports Network.
